How to get starter
First time using GitBook? We got you!
The Hub lives in GitBook, which is an online platform for writing, organizing, and publishing documents. We chose it because it allows for collaboration, reuse of content, integrations – and is easily searchable.
Content in GitBook is grouped into “spaces,” which you can think of as separate mini-sites or knowledge bases. Inside each space, information is broken into pages and nested subpages, which you can browse from the left-hand sidebar as a table of contents.
Navigating The Hub in GitBook:
Looking at content
Use the left sidebar for an overview of spaces and content, then click into the table of contents to browse pages, subpages, and groups in a nested structure. The space header at the top shows the current page’s name and quick actions like search or history. Scroll through pages with buttons at the bottom, and jump to sections via the page outline on the right side of long content.
Playing in The Hub’s sandboxes
The sandboxes are spaces to experiment, tinker, and learn by doing. You can try out and explore technologies hands-on without worrying about breaking anything; they are designed as separate modules built within the Hub without affecting anything. They allow you to explore and let you learn and experiment at your own pace as you explore your curiosity and discover what’s possible.
Access
Not all resources for The Hub on Gitbook are available in multiple languages. We do our best to include as many resources in core languages of Swahili, Spanish, Portuguese, and French as possible, this is a work in progress. The hub’s default language is English, but thanks to the built-in options, you can view translations in the previously mentioned languages.
